The Old Testament and the Tanakh are both religious texts, but they are used by different religious traditions. The Old Testament is the sacred scripture of Christianity, and it includes the same books as the Tanakh, but in a different order and with some variations in the text. The Tanakh, on the other hand, is the Hebrew Bible and is the sacred scripture of Judaism. It is divided into three sections: the Torah (Law), the Nevi'im (Prophets), and the Ketuvim (Writings), whereas the Old Testament is divided into the Pentateuch, Historical Books, Wisdom Books, and Prophetic Books. **
