Thousands of bees may be in the flowerbed because they are attracted to the nectar and pollen produced by the flowers. Bees rely on flowers for food, specifically nectar which they use to make honey, and pollen which they use as a protein source. The abundance of flowers in a flowerbed may provide a rich food source for the bees, leading to a large number of them congregating in that area. Additionally, bees are social insects that communicate with each other through pheromones, so once a few bees find a good food source, they can attract many more to the same location. **

To prevent your puppy from digging in the flowerbed, you can try providing them with a designated digging area filled with sand or soil where they are allowed to dig. Make sure to supervise your puppy when they are outside and redirect their attention to toys or activities that will keep them occupied. Additionally, ensure your puppy is getting enough physical and mental exercise to prevent boredom, which can lead to digging behavior. Lastly, consider using deterrents such as citrus peels, rocks, or chicken wire to make the flowerbed less appealing for digging. **
